with 8+ points and are game forcing.

in a weak hand, and 2NT a positive hand with a 4-4-4-1
or 5-4-4-0 distribution.

Point Count Method

Q-plus Bridge uses the common 4-3-2-1 scheme, with a few modifications:
An ace counts a bit more than 4 points (4.2), a jack a bit less than 1 point (0.8),
a ten is not completely worthless (0.2); the value of honours other than the ace,
in particular isolated honours, must be reduced somewhat if the left hand opponent
shows strength, etc.

As consequence of that, the program calculates the points at a level of 1/10 points
and also displays this. "9.7" points can be read as "poor 10 points" while "10.3"
points as "good 10 points".

The program distinguishes between "pure" high card points, high card points
with length points, and high card points with distribution points.
They are also calculated in 1/10 points units.
